Ce ne serait pas une nouvelle année sans une série de nouvelles dates de tournée d’America, avec les leaders Gerry Beckley et Dewey Bunnell qui ont ajouté neuf nouvelles étapes à l’itinéraire du groupe pour 2023. Pour l’instant, America démarre le 12 janvier au Luhrs Center de Shippensburg, en Pennsylvanie, et vient d’ajouter de nouveaux concerts dans le Sud, le Nord-Est, le Midwest et la Côte Ouest.

Dewey Bunnell nous a dit qu’au fil des années sur la route, le groupe a appris à gérer un navire serré à la fois sur et en dehors de la scène : [“We’ve grown up on the road and we know what we’re supposed to be doing. The live show’s matured. You take your responsibility a little more seriously. You have to take care of your voice. We wanna be able to do those songs justice every night. Gerry Beckley nous a dit que le groupe essaie d’inclure toutes les chansons les plus populaires d’Amérique dans leur liste de chansons du soir : [“It’s all of those songs that make up the show, y’know, make up the experience.
